| Footballguys view: This is big news for the Ravens, as Madubuike is the team's best interior defensive lineman. It wasn't certain that he would be cleared to practice, but he was by independent spine/cervical doctors after only playing in two games last year before his season was over due to a neck injury. He could practice as soon as next week if everything in his return to the field goes well. |

Chicago Bears LB Keyshaun Elliott (undisclosed), CB Kyler Gordon (undisclosed), LB Noah Sewell (undisclosed), OT Ozzy Trapilo (knee) and DE Shemar Turner (undisclosed) were placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Saturday, July 25. The team also placed LB T.J. Edwards (undisclosed) on the Active/Non-Football Injury list.
| Footballguys view: The most important name here is Trapilo, who emerged as the team's starting left tackle as a rookie second round pick last year. The team still has Braxton Jones, who he supplanted, and they signed former Browns first round pick Jedrick Wills as a reclamation project for depth. Trapilo tore a patellar tendon, so he's projected to miss most of the season, and there's no guarantee that he'll play at all. |
