Houston Texans RB Woody Marks (knee) practiced in full on Friday, Dec. 12, and no longer appears on the injury report.
Footballguys view: A DNP to LP to FP throughout the week is the exact trend we want to see for an injured player. Marks has taken control of this backfield over the second half of the season. Fire him up as a fringe RB2 this week against the Cardinals.

Houston Texans RB Woody Marks (knee) returned to practice on Thursday, Dec. 11.
Footballguys view: Both Marks and Nick Chubb (ribs) are players to monitor on the injury report. Marks should be ready for Week 15, and he's in line for another large workload. He's an RB2 option for Fantasy GMs.
Houston Texans RB Woody Marks (knee) was unable to take part in practice Wednesday, Dec. 10 due to a knee ailment.
Footballguys view: Marks rushed 26 times for 68 yards in the Texans' Week 14 win over the Chiefs, plus he had eight yards and a touchdown on two receptions. Nick Chubb is not practicing on Wednesday either. Marks would be in line for a sizable workload if Chubb had to miss Week 15.
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb (ribs) was unable to participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 10 due to his ribs injury.
Footballguys view: Chubb is a seasoned veteran, so we're not panicked about his status yet. Woody Marks would get a huge workload against the Cardinals if Chubb can't play.

Houston Texans TE Brevin Jordan agreed to a one-year extension Monday, Dec. 8. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Footballguys view: Currently on season-ending IR, Jordan has appeared in 36 games and had 12 starts in his four seasons with Houston. He has 53 catches on 80 targets for 532 yards and five touchdowns. For now, the Texans will continue to roll out the duo of Dalton Schultz and Cade Stover at the position for the final four weeks of the season, and for any playoff run that might ensue. Schultz has emerged as the leader in the tight end room, being their second-leading receiver on the year behind only Nico Collins.

Link to storyHouston Texans WR Jayden Higgins has been targeted at least five times in four straight games, and during that stretch, he is averaging 4.5 catches, 7 targets and 50 receiving yards while scoring twice.
Footballguys view: The rookie receiver is making plays for the Texans offense. The role is there for him each week as a consistent piece of the passing game. Against the Chiefs on Sunday night, Higgins should be considered a deep flex option for Fantasy GMs.
Houston Texans S Jaylen Reed (forearm) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Dec. 6.
Link to storyHouston Texans RB Woody Marks (ankle) practiced in full on Friday, Dec. 5, and no longer appears on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Marks has taken over as the Texans' workhorse over the last month. Unfortunately, the targets and touchdowns have not followed. Still, Marks' projected volume puts him in the high-end RB3 conversation against the Chiefs.
Houston Texans S Jaylen Reed (arm) and LB Jamal Hill (hamstring) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Houston Texans RB Woody Marks (foot) was not seen at the public portion of practice on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Footballguys view: Marks was banged up in Week 13, and he might be just getting some extra rest here. The Texans will rely on Nick Chubb more if Marks has to miss time. Stay tuned to Friday's practice report for the Texans as they prepare to face the Chiefs in Week 14.

Link to storyHouston Texans TE Dalton Schultz caught seven of eight targets for 55 yards in a Week 13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Footballguys view: Schultz only caught one pass last week, but he was a very useful short range target for CJ Stroud and should be picked back up if he was dropped before this week. He has at least six catches in four of the last five games.

Houston Texans WR Xavier Hutchinson caught two of 5 targets for 39 yards in a Week 13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Houston Texans WR Jayden Higgins caught all five of his targets for 65 yards in a Week 13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Footballguys view: Higgins shouldn't be on the waiver wire in any leagues. He is emerging as the #2 outside receiver with a good connection no matter who is playing quarterback. Consider him as a WR3/Flex option against Kansas City next week.
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb ran nine times for 34 yards and a touchdown in a Week 13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Link to storyNick Chubb player page
Houston Texans RB Woody Marks ran 19 times for 64 yards and caught one pass for three yards in a Week 13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Footballguys view: Marks left the game briefly with a foot injury, but didn't seem to be affected by it after he returned. He was still the clear leader in backfield touches, but Nick Chubb got the running back touchdown, and the return of CJ Stroud did not mean a return to the big receiving numbers we have seen from Marks with Stroud earlier this season. As long as Marks' week in practice is uneventful, he is still a good flex play against the Chiefs next week.
