Detroit Lions TE Josh Hill announced his retirement from professional football Thursday, May 6.
| Footballguys view: Hill announced his retirement a week or so ago, and now it's official. The Lions signed him earlier this offseason and Hill spent all of his career with the Saints. Detroit ended up adding Darren Fells earlier this week. Fells will likely work as the primary backup to starter T.J. Hockenson. |

New Orleans Saints OT Terron Armstead (shoulder), WR Willie Snead (hamstring) and OG Andrus Peat (hip) were limited participants Friday, Oct. 13, and each are listed as questionable for Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. CB Sterling Moore (pectoral), RB Trey Edmunds (concussion) and TE Josh Hill (concussion) practiced in full and were removed from the injury reports.
| Footballguys view: Snead has said that the team has told him he will be eased back in, so he's not a suitable play this week. If Armstead can return, it will be a big boost to the Saints pass blocking after they started a rookie at left tackle in his absence. |
