Buffalo Bills RB Latavius Murray has shown during training camp 'how much more he gives the Bills in the passing game' than RB Damien Harris, according to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic.
Footballguys view: Murray can make plays as a runner or receiver out of the backfield. Harris is more of a banger between the tackles, while Murray looks smooth as a pass-catcher. It will be interesting to see how the Bills split touches between Murray and Harris behind starting RB James Cook. |

Free-agent RB Latavius Murray (Broncos) agreed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills Monday, May 1. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Footballguys view: Murray is a seasoned veteran who looked good as the Broncos' lead back in the 2022 season. He's an efficient runner who can pick up tough yards - and that's great for the Bills so they can use QB Josh Allen less when it's 3rd-and-1 (and on 4th down too). Murray is also a good receiving option out of the backfield. He'll work into the mix behind RB Damien Harris and RB James Cook in 2023. |

Footballguys view: Murray is more desperation play than RB2/Flex even though he's the clear lead back for his offense. He'll face the Chiefs next week in what will likely be a bad game script for the running game. |

Jones (hand), RB Latavius Murray (wrist), DL Mike Purcell (ankle) and S Justin Simmons (knee) practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report.
Footballguys view: Courtland Sutton is a solid WR3/Flex play with Jeudy out. Kendall Hinton also stays in what-the-heck flex territory against a Panthers defense that gave up a big game to Demarcus Robinson last week. |

Denver Broncos RB Marlon Mack could be the primary backup to RB Latavius Murray in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers after the team dumped RB Melvin Gordon, while expecting RB Chase Edmonds to miss time due to injury.
Footballguys view: Edmonds is out of action for (likely) a few weeks with a high-ankle sprain. That means Murray will be backed up by Mack, and that's a good option for the Broncos. Expect them to activate Devine Ozigbo off the practice squad as well. |

Footballguys view: Hinton would get a chance to start if he can play, but he's not a sure thing to go against the Raiders and his game is a late afternoon start, so he's a risky injury/bye fill-in. |
