Browns | Cedric Tillman back on roster    Sat Nov 8, 02:03 PM

Cleveland Browns WR Cedric Tillman (hamstring) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 8.

Footballguys view: He's back for the first time since Week 4, but things are different now for Tillman with Dillon Gabriel at quarterback. Tillman had 11 catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns in four games earlier this season, but that was with Joe Flacco under center. The Browns' passing game is "not great Bob" so Tillman is more of a 'what the heck' flex for Fantasy GMs in deeper leagues.

Patriots | Opportunity for Kyle Williams    Sat Nov 8, 01:30 PM

New England Patriots WR Kyle Williams is expected to have an expanded role in Week 10 with WR Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) ruled out, according to head coach Mike Vrabel. 'Kyle's been learning a lot of different positions,' Vrabel said. 'I think he settled down. I'm excited that he'll probably get an opportunity here.'

Footballguys view: We're excited about Williams in dynasty leagues. A third-round pick out of Washington State, Williams has the shake-and-bake to get open at the start or stem of his route. He can get vertical in a hurry, and Williams showed a nose for the end zone in college (14 touchdowns last year for the Cougars). Without Boutte, we may see Williams get more opportunities as a deep threat...and that means he could be a waiver wire option soon if he begins playing up to his potential.

49ers | Christian McCaffrey pushing for record    Sat Nov 8, 01:30 PM

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey is on pace for 1,182 receiving yards, which would break Marshall Faulk's single-season record for receiving yards by a running back (1,048).

Footballguys view: Only McCaffrey, Faulk, and Roger Craig are in the 1,000/1,000 club (running backs who went over 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in the same season). With his usage and production, McCaffrey might be the first player to do that rare feat twice.

Seahawks | Jaxon Smith-Njigba setting records    Sat Nov 8, 01:30 PM

Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the first player with at least eight receptions and 120 receiving yards in four consecutive games since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2014.

Footballguys view: Smith-Njigba has gone over 100 yards receiving in six of eight games so far this season, and he's on pace for over 2,000 yards receiving (he'd be the first player ever to do that). A perfect fit in Klint Kubiak's offense, Smith-Njigba is playing like the best in the league with strong chemistry built between he and Sam Darnold. Fantasy GMs can set-it-and-forget-it with Smith-Njigba as a WR1 every week.

Rams | Matthew Stafford in rare company    Sat Nov 8, 01:30 PM

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford is the fourth different quarterback in NFL history to throw 20-plus touchdowns with two or fewer interceptions through their team's first eight games.

Footballguys view: Stafford is playing like an NFL MVP, and the Rams look set to make a deep postseason run (again). He's carving up defenses on a regular basis, and Fantasy GMs are reaping the rewards. Against the 49ers on Sunday afternoon, we've got Stafford in his normal QB1 ranking for Week 10.

49ers | Mac Jones to start in Week 10    Sat Nov 8, 01:30 PM

San Francisco 49ers QB Mac Jones will be the starting quarterback for the 49ers again in Week 10, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.

Footballguys view: Jones has been playing good football for the 49ers, and he's 5-2 as the team's starter. With Brock Purdy (toe) in need of more recovery time, Jones can command the offense and is an option for Fantasy GMs in start-2 QB/superflex leagues.

Broncos | J.K. Dobbins dealing with injury    Sat Nov 8, 01:30 PM

Denver Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins (foot) suffered a foot injury during the Week 10 game and is scheduled to receive a second opinion on the injury, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Footballguys view: Dobbins was injured on a hip-drop tackle late in the terrible Thursday night game against the Raiders. The Broncos offense is struggling, and Bo Nix looks nervous on the field over the last two games. It helps him when Dobbins can do some of the heavy lifting. Without Dobbins, the Broncos would have to turn to guys like rookie RJ Harvey, Tyler Badie, and Jaleel McLaughlin. They play the Chiefs in Week 11 before their Week 12 bye.

Packers | Matthew Golden wants to play in Week 10    Sat Nov 8, 12:50 PM

Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden (shoulder) has no suffered any setbacks and is 'fighting to play' in Week 10's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.

Footballguys view: While Golden wants to get out there, the team may choose to shut him down for more recovery time. The Packers are at home in a big game against the Eagles in Week 10. He's considered day-to-day with this shoulder injury. The Packers are set to keep featuring Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and (now without Tucker Kraft) Luke Musgrave in the passing game.

Vikings | Aaron Jones likely to play    Sat Nov 8, 12:33 PM

Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 10's game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to multiple sources.

Footballguys view: Jones missed Wednesday's practice, but he did participate in limited fashion on both Thursday and Friday. He suffered an AC joint sprain in Week 9, but says he's feeling good and is in line to play. We like Jones as an RB3/flex option for Fantasy GMs in Week 10.

Cardinals | Kyler Murray injury update    Sat Nov 8, 12:04 PM

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot) is dealing with a mid-foot sprain which would be in the area of a Lisfranc injury, although there are no broken bones and no dislocation. However, there is still some swelling as a result of too much fluid trapped in body tissues. Since Murray's injury has not fully healed and there is still a risk of re-injury, the Cardinals decided to place him on the Reserve/Injured list earlier this week, meaning he will miss at least four more games.

Footballguys view: The team just operates better on offense when Murray is out and Jacoby Brissett is in. Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort said he thinks Murray will return this season, but he said "a lot can happen" when asked if Murray will come back as the starter when he's healthy. Brissett could keep this job for the rest of the 2025 season if he plays well.

Commanders | Jayden Daniels to be re-evaluated during bye    Sat Nov 8, 11:11 AM

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) will have his dislocated left elbow re-examined during the Commanders' Week 12 bye.

Footballguys view: Daniels suffered a gruesome injury to his elbow in Week 9, but tests revealed no ligament damage. He has already been ruled out for Week 10's game against the Detroit Lions and is also expected to miss Week 11's contest versus the Miami Dolphins in Madrid.

Steelers | Trey Sermon added to active roster    Sat Nov 8, 10:36 AM

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed RB Trey Sermon to their 53-man roster from the practice squad Saturday, Nov. 8.

He was removed from the team's official injury report Friday, Nov. 7.

Browns | Shedeur Sanders to serve as QB2    Sat Nov 8, 09:24 AM

Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders (back) will serve as the No. 2 quarterback for Week 10's game versus the New York Jets behind QB Dillon Gabriel, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Footballguys view: It will get the internet buzzing if Sanders has to come into the game. People have been waiting for Sanders to get an opportunity, but he's playing the waiting game behind fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. Sanders no longer appears on the Browns' injury report after he was able to participate in one limited practice session and two full sessions during the week.

Browns | Myles Garrett doing doing it all    Fri Nov 7, 10:35 PM

Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett leads all edge rushers in stuffs against the run for no gain or a loss (10), and his 15 tackles for loss lead the NFL and are the most by a player through his team's first eight games since J.J. Watt in 2014.

San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) and DE Mykel Williams (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 7, and have been ruled out for Week 10. DT Alfred Collins (hip) did not practice and is listed as questionable. LB Tatum Bethune (thigh), QB Brock Purdy (toe), LB Dee Winters (knee), DT Kalia Davis (ankle) and DE Keion White (groin) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. OG Ben Bartch (ankle) fully participated in practice but is listed as questionable. RB Christian McCaffrey (non-injury), OT Trent Williams (non-injury), C Jake Brendel (hamstring), DE Bryce Huff (hamstring), WR Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder), QB Mac Jones (knee) and CB Darrell Luter Jr. (Achilles) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

49ers | Mac Jones expected to play    Fri Nov 7, 07:14 PM

San Francisco 49ers QB Mac Jones (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Footballguys view: Jones draws another start in Week 10 and has gone 5-2 as a starter this season. He's held his own, filling in for Brock Purdy. For fantasy purposes, he offers steady QB2 value but little appeal in single-quarterback leagues.

49ers | No designation for Jauan Jennings    Fri Nov 7, 07:10 PM

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Footballguys view: Jennings has started to look a bit healthier over the last couple of weeks after dealing with a slew of injuries dating back to OTAs. The production has been fleeting this year, but Jennings makes for a WR3 in this week's matchup against the Rams.

49ers | Brock Purdy listed as questionable    Fri Nov 7, 07:04 PM

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (toe) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 7, and is listed as questionable for Week 10.

Footballguys view: Purdy is listed as questionable, but Adam Schefter already reported that Mac Jones would start again. If active, Purdy would likely serve as an emergency backup option. There's hope Purdy can return later this season, but Jones has been serviceable in his relief.

49ers | Ricky Pearsall still not ready to play    Fri Nov 7, 06:59 PM

San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 7, and has been ruled out for Week 10.

Footballguys view: Pearsall's knee injury has lingered much longer than expected. After Friday's practice, Kyle Shanahan said Pearsall still isn't reaching the pre-injury speed the team wants to see before clearing him to return. He hopes to return soon and remains a frustrating stash in fantasy until he does.

Rams | Day off for Tyler Higbee    Fri Nov 7, 06:51 PM

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 7, but is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Footballguys view: This was a rest day for Higbee. He's off the radar outside of teams that require multiple tight ends. We've got him ranked as our TE36 on the week.

Rams | Puka Nacua on track to play    Fri Nov 7, 06:46 PM

Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua (chest) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Footballguys view: Nacua left last week's game early with a chest injury, and Sean McVay clarified that it's his ribs. The bruising wide receiver is no stranger to battling through injury. If he's active, he's a top-three receiver in fantasy.

Packers | Dontayvion Wicks limited Friday    Fri Nov 7, 06:37 PM

Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 7.

Footballguys view: Wicks hasn't played since Week 7. It's promising that he's back at practice, but we'd like to see a full practice on Saturday before making any assumptions about his gameday status. Even if he is active, Wicks is off the radar outside of the deepest leagues.

Packers | Christian Watson listed as limited    Fri Nov 7, 06:32 PM

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 7.

Footballguys view: The Packers have been erring on the side of caution since Watson returned from IR after tearing his ACL last year. His limited participation feels like a typical part of a rehabilitation plan. We expect him to play, and we'll update if any news comes in.

Packers | Josh Jacobs limited again    Fri Nov 7, 06:09 PM

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (non-injury) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 7.

Footballguys view: Jacobs gets the veteran treatment you'd expect for a workhorse running back during practice. He gets frequent rest days and limited participation, but he's in no danger of missing this week's game. He's an RB1.

Packers | No practice for Matthew Golden    Fri Nov 7, 06:03 PM

Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden (shoulder) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 7.

Footballguys view: Golden left last week's game early with this shoulder injury. More concerning, though, is his change in usage since Christian Watson returned. Golden has been relegated to a low-value role with short targets and limited volume. As a rookie, there could still be untapped upside. As byes and injuries pile up, you may have to consider dropping him.

Chargers | Keenan Allen set to play Week 10    Fri Nov 7, 06:02 PM

Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (rest) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 7, and no longer appears on the injury report.

Footballguys view: Allen is 33 years old. Expect him to get plenty of rest days this season. The veteran has quietly moved into a part-time role over the last couple of weeks, playing 25 and 37 percent of the team's snaps. He's been hyper-efficient with his opportunities. Still, he makes for more of a shaky WR3 than the high-end WR2 he looked like earlier in the year.

DL Da'Shawn Hand (groin), LS Josh Harris (chest), and DB Deane Leonard (knee) practiced in full on Friday and are listed as questionable.   Eagles | A.J. Brown takes part in practice    Fri Nov 7, 05:51 PM

Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 7.

Footballguys view: Brown is trending towards playing this week after getting the bye to rest up. This hamstring caused him to miss the Eagles' Week 8 game. Brown's production has been sporadic this year, but his weekly upside makes him a WR2 worth starting.

Eagles | Saquon Barkley fully practices    Fri Nov 7, 05:43 PM

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 7.

Footballguys view: Barkley picked up a groin injury late in Week 8 but immediately downplayed the severity. He rested up over his Week 9 bye and should be at full strength in this week's game against the Packers. Barkley finally broke out last week with some big runs that had evaded him early in the year. Fire him up as a plug-and-play RB1.
