Link to storyThe New York Jets are interested in bringing back impending free-agent OG Alijah Vera-Tucker (triceps) next season, according to ESPN.com's Rich Cimini. He has missed the entire 2025 campaign due to a torn triceps.
| Footballguys view: Vera-Tucker is the team's best offensive lineman. They are used to playing without him, as he has only appeared in 43 games over his first five years with the team. He'll be one of the most sought after players in free agency if the Jets don't find a way to re-sign him before he walks. |

Link to storyThe Minnesota Vikings have not had substantive talks with WR Jalen Nailor on an extension, according to ESPN.com's Kevin Seifert. He is currently in the final season of his rookie contract.
| Footballguys view: Nailor has been the most efficient target for JJ McCarthy, but the team drafted Tai Felton in the third round back in April as a potential replacement and McCarthy isn't exactly entrenched as the starting quarterback going into the offseason. The open market is likely to pay Nailor more than the Vikings would. He is worth carrying in deep dynasty leagues through the offseason as a player who could have a larger role on his second contract with a new team. |
Updating a previous report, New Orleans Saints PK Charlie Smyth's three-year contract does not contain any guaranteed money. He had made $13,000 per week as a member of the practice squad when he was not being elevated but will receive the NFL's minimum salaries for 2025 and 2026.
