San Francisco 49ers DE Clelin Ferrell was elevated to the active roster ahead of the Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams. He had a sack against the New York Giants in Week 9. It's the third time he has been elevated this season, so the team would have to sign him to the 53-man roster for any future appearances. DL Sebastian Valdez was also elevated.

Chicago Bears PK Cairo Santos is confident heading into the Week 10 game against the New York Giants despite an ugly weather forecast calling for temperatures just above freezing with winds at 20-25 MPH, gusting up to 28 MPH. 'I'm comfortable in it,' Santos said Saturday, Nov. 8. 'It's perfect that we got two windy days kicking Wednesday and (Friday), and it's similar to the Saints game a couple weeks ago, so it's something I'm familiar with.'

New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart and his team will meet the Chicago Bears in Week 10, and the weather forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-30's with winds at 20-25 MPH, with high gusts. There is a winter storm watch and gale warning for the area.

Link to storyLos Angeles Chargers practice squad RB Jaret Patterson and RB Trayveon Williams were elevated to the active roster Saturday, Nov. 8, and will be available for the Week 10 game.
Footballguys view: Patterson rushed nine times for 44 yards in the Chargers' Week 9 win over the Titans. He was more productive than Chargers' starting RB Kimani Vidal, but most of Patterson's work came when the team was trying to run out the clock. Against the Steelers on Sunday night, we're not sure they'll be able to nurse a lead to a win.

Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown (hamstring) fully participated in practice Saturday, Nov. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Footballguys view: Brown is ready to go for Monday night's game against the Packers. Fantasy GMs have been riding a roller coaster with Brown this season. However, he's still the type of player who can relied on for WR2 production with WR1 upside.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) fully participated in practice Saturday, Nov. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Footballguys view: Barkley is ready to go after a groin injury bothered him back in Week 8. With a Week 9 bye and a full participation in practice, Barkley should be counted on at his normal RB1 projections in Week 10 against the Packers.

Link to storyCleveland Browns OT Cornelius Lucas (back) has been ruled out of the Week 10 game.
Link to storyCleveland Browns WR Cedric Tillman (hamstring) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 8.
Footballguys view: He's back for the first time since Week 4, but things are different now for Tillman with Dillon Gabriel at quarterback. Tillman had 11 catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns in four games earlier this season, but that was with Joe Flacco under center. The Browns' passing game is "not great Bob" so Tillman is more of a 'what the heck' flex for Fantasy GMs in deeper leagues.
New England Patriots WR Kyle Williams is expected to have an expanded role in Week 10 with WR Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) ruled out, according to head coach Mike Vrabel. 'Kyle's been learning a lot of different positions,' Vrabel said. 'I think he settled down. I'm excited that he'll probably get an opportunity here.'
Footballguys view: We're excited about Williams in dynasty leagues. A third-round pick out of Washington State, Williams has the shake-and-bake to get open at the start or stem of his route. He can get vertical in a hurry, and Williams showed a nose for the end zone in college (14 touchdowns last year for the Cougars). Without Boutte, we may see Williams get more opportunities as a deep threat...and that means he could be a waiver wire option soon if he begins playing up to his potential.
San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey is on pace for 1,182 receiving yards, which would break Marshall Faulk's single-season record for receiving yards by a running back (1,048).
Footballguys view: Only McCaffrey, Faulk, and Roger Craig are in the 1,000/1,000 club (running backs who went over 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in the same season). With his usage and production, McCaffrey might be the first player to do that rare feat twice.

Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the first player with at least eight receptions and 120 receiving yards in four consecutive games since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2014.
Footballguys view: Smith-Njigba has gone over 100 yards receiving in six of eight games so far this season, and he's on pace for over 2,000 yards receiving (he'd be the first player ever to do that). A perfect fit in Klint Kubiak's offense, Smith-Njigba is playing like the best in the league with strong chemistry built between he and Sam Darnold. Fantasy GMs can set-it-and-forget-it with Smith-Njigba as a WR1 every week.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford is the fourth different quarterback in NFL history to throw 20-plus touchdowns with two or fewer interceptions through their team's first eight games.
Footballguys view: Stafford is playing like an NFL MVP, and the Rams look set to make a deep postseason run (again). He's carving up defenses on a regular basis, and Fantasy GMs are reaping the rewards. Against the 49ers on Sunday afternoon, we've got Stafford in his normal QB1 ranking for Week 10.

San Francisco 49ers QB Mac Jones will be the starting quarterback for the 49ers again in Week 10, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Footballguys view: Jones has been playing good football for the 49ers, and he's 5-2 as the team's starter. With Brock Purdy (toe) in need of more recovery time, Jones can command the offense and is an option for Fantasy GMs in start-2 QB/superflex leagues.

Denver Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins (foot) suffered a foot injury during the Week 10 game and is scheduled to receive a second opinion on the injury, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Footballguys view: Dobbins was injured on a hip-drop tackle late in the terrible Thursday night game against the Raiders. The Broncos offense is struggling, and Bo Nix looks nervous on the field over the last two games. It helps him when Dobbins can do some of the heavy lifting. Without Dobbins, the Broncos would have to turn to guys like rookie RJ Harvey, Tyler Badie, and Jaleel McLaughlin. They play the Chiefs in Week 11 before their Week 12 bye.

Green Bay Packers PK Brandon McManus will remain the team's kicker, according to head coach Matt LaFleur, who said that too much had been read into his recent comments about it being a competition, claiming that 'every spot is a competition.'
