Link to storyHouston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 31, but is listed as questionable for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Schultz had a big opportunity last week with Nico Collins out and was coming off a handful of strong performances. But injuries limited his play and kept him from practicing on Wednesday and Thursday. Full participation on Friday inspires some hope that he'll be good to go Sunday. Even if he does start, though, we've got him ranked in the TE2 range.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 31, but is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: The Jaguars were on bye last week, so Thomas starting the week in a non-contact jersey caused some concern. However, Liam Coen said Thomas "truly practiced the best I've seen him practice this week." That quote came after news of Travis Hunter's injury, providing optimism about his outlook as the top guy for Week 9. Thomas has come up short of his draft-day expectations this year, but we've still got him ranked as a back-end WR2 this week.
Denver Broncos TE Nate Adkins (knee), S P.J. Locke (neck), WR Marvin Mims (concussion) and CB Patrick Surtain II (pectoral) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and have been ruled out for Week 9. Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 31, and no longer appears on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Expectations were that Bowers would return after the bye, and he plans to do just that. Bowers practiced at full strength all week and should have no limitations on Sunday. He's our TE4 this week, a must-start in all formats.
Denver Broncos WR Marvin Mims (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and has been ruled out for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Mims couldn't practice this week or clear concussion protocol. In his absence, rookie Pat Bryant might see some extra work. He caught his first touchdown last week, and his route participation has jumped over the last few weeks. He's a very deep flex option for desperate managers, but it's hard to predict who will get targets in this offense aside from Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin.
Las Vegas Raiders S Lonnie Johnson (fibula) and QB Aidan O'Connell (wrist) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 31, and have been ruled out for Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Seattle Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 31, and is listed as questionable for Week 9 against the Washington Commanders.
Footballguys view: Kupp popped up on Thursday's injury report after suffering an injury in practice. If he can't suit up, Tory Horton moves into the flex consideration. Horton has hauled in a few touchdowns this year, showing big-play ability. He was a versatile receiver at Colorado State and could serve as the secondary option behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold (chest) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 31, and no longer appears on the injury report.

Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Nacua missed a few weeks with an ankle injury, but was the top-scoring fantasy receiver going into the matchup he left early. Coming off a bye and practicing in full, there's no reason not to expect Nacua to return to form as his dominant self. We've got him ranked as a top-three receiver this week.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 31, but is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Watson made his return a week ago from last year's Week 18 ACL tear and immediately played over half the team's snaps. He added a much-needed vertical element to the Packers offense, and should build off of that going into Week 9. He's a boom/bust WR4 this week, but worth a stash to see how his role develops.
Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (calf) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 31, but is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: The Packers have been conservative with Jacobs' usage over the last couple of weeks as he navigates this calf injury. Still, a matchup against the Panthers puts him into RB1 consideration. Expect Emanuel Wilson to get some work, but Jacobs still projects for the vast majority.
Josh Jacobs player page
Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and has been ruled out for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Wicks has been in a pretty quiet role even before suffering a calf injury in Week 7. Especially with the emergence of Christian Watson, the path to fantasy relevance for Wicks is narrow. He's droppable in most formats.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Mike Tomlin is pretty loose with veteran rest days. That's all Metcalf's Thursday DNP was. We're ranking Metcalf as a WR2 this week against the Colts.

Link to storyAtlanta Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Penix was limited through Thursday, raising some concern, but he is expected to play Sunday against the Patriots. Sometimes looking like a great offense, consistency has been the Falcons' toughest battle this year. Penix is a shaky QB2 this week.
Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Flacco (shoulder) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 31, and is listed as questionable.
Footballguys view: Flacco makes it sound like he intends to play, and we're ranking it as such. While Flacco is only in the discussion for streaming, his presence has a significant impact on the Bengals' weapons. Ja'Marr Chase has been an elite WR1 with Flacco, totaling 42 targets over their two games together. Tee Higgins has scored in back-to-back weeks. Chase Brown has vaulted himself from being a shaky RB3 to a high-end RB2. If Jake Browning starts, we will update projections for the Bengals' offense. For now, though, we're hoping and expecting to see Flacco out there against the Bears.
Joe Flacco player page
Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Pitts is quietly having a nice bounce-back season this year, but his production has mainly come in the games without Drake London. We've got Pitts ranked as a TE1 this week, but that says more about the current tight end landscape than Pitts' expectation.
Kyle Pitts Sr. player page
Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London (hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: After a full practice, London should be a full go for this matchup. His production has been sporadic this year, but his weekly ceiling keeps him in fantasy lineups. He's a high-end WR2 against the Patriots this week.
Cincinnati Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson (hip), LB Logan Wilson (calf), and CB Marco Wilson (hamstring) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 9 against the Chicago Bears.
