Bears | Kyler Gordon, Jaylon Johnson not ready to return Sat Nov 22, 12:56 PM
Chicago Bears DBs Kyler Gordon (calf) and Jaylon Johnson (groin) will not be activated from the Reserve/Injured list this week, according to multiple sources. Both defenders had been listed as questionable for Week 12's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers but will now look to return to action in Week 13 versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins has caught at least one touchdown pass in four straight games, but in Week 12, he could be covered by New England Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez, who has yet to allow a touchdown reception as the nearest defender this season.
Footballguys view: It's a four-game streak, and the Bengals will be operating without Ja'Marr Chase (suspension). That means Higgins could get more than the 7.2 targets per game he's been getting with Joe Flacco at quarterback. Flacco is at the point in his career where he plays DGAF football (sorry Joe), and that means Gonzalez's tough coverage may not make the veteran quarterback shy away from Higgins. We like Higgins as a WR2 in Week 12.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (personal) will travel separately from the rest of the team for their Week 12 contest against the Dallas Cowboys and has no game status.
Footballguys view: It's on Sunday afternoon, so make sure to keep up on the news with Smith just in case he misses the game. Against the Cowboys, Smith should be able to post WR2 numbers in Week 12 if he does play.

Philadelphia Eagles C Cameron Jurgens (concussion) was removed from the injury report Saturday, Nov. 22, and will be good to go for Week 12's game versus the Dallas Cowboys. He had previously been listed as questionable after logging one limited practice session and one full session during the week.
Link to storyThe Los Angeles Rams agreed to terms with LB Nathan Landman on a three-year, $22.5 million contract extension Saturday, Nov. 22. The deal includes $15.6 million in guaranteed money.
Link to storyMinnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones is averaging 5.7 yards per carry and 82.7 yards from scrimmage in three games since returning from injury.
Footballguys view: The Vikings have a struggling young quarterback in JJ McCarthy, so it makes sense to lean on the run. That means Jones is in for a sizable workload while McCarthy figures things out. Against the Packers in Week 12, Jones is an RB2/flex option.

The Indianapolis Colts activated CB Charvarius Ward (concussion) from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 22. In a corresponding move, CB Cameron Mitchell was waived.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) will not be activated from the Reserve/Injured list in time for Week 12's game against the New England Patriots, according to a source. QB Joe Flacco will continue to serve as the team's starting quarterback for now.
Footballguys view: Burrow is close to returning after practicing in full all week. The Bengals play on Thursday in Week 13, so that's when Burrow is expected back in action for the first time since Week 2. Joe Flacco draws another start for the Bengals in Week 12.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Flacco will start Week 12's game versus the New England Patriots.
Footballguys view: Flacco was removed from the injury report and will be active for Week 12 against the Patriots. A full participation on Friday after being limited earlier in the week helped their decision. Joe Burrow practiced fully all week, but the Bengals decided to give him one more week of rest.

Los Angeles Rams WR Xavier Smith (concussion) has cleared the baseline test for concussion protocol, according to head coach Sean McVay. He is listed as questionable for Week 12's game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan faces the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, and the 49ers have allowed the fourth-most passing touchdowns (21) and fifth-most passing yards per game (249.1).
Footballguys view: McMillan has some Mike Evans to his game. He did in college at Arizona, and that type of playmaking is coming through in his rookie year. Bryce Young clearly loves targeting McMillan, and the production is coming weekly. On Monday night against the 49ers, we like McMillan as a WR2.
Los Angeles Rams WR Tutu Atwell (hamstring) is expected to be activated from the Reserve/Injured list in time for Week 13's game versus the Carolina Panthers, according to head coach Sean McVay.
Footballguys view: McVay has been creative with his receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, and getting Atwell back will give him another method of attack. Fantasy GMs can add Atwell in deeper legues as he's a weekly 'what the heck' flex option.

Indianapolis Colts CB Charvarius Ward (concussion) has cleared concussion protocol, according to head coach Shane Steichen. He is listed as questionable on the injury report for Week 12's game against the Kansas City Chiefs despite fully participating in all three of the team's practice sessions held during the week.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams has caught a touchdown pass in three straight games, and he is averaging 91 receiving yards per game during that span compared to 41.3 yards over his first seven games.
Footballguys view: The Lions are without TE Sam LaPorta, and that's impacting the production of others like Williams. He caught 4-of-7 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' Week 11 loss to the Eagles. He's a WR2 with upside at least, but the hot streak has him in WR1 territory over the last three weeks.
Detroit Lions CB D.J. Reed (hamstring) could be activated from the Reserve/Injured list in time for Week 12's game versus the New York Giants, according to head coach Dan Campbell.
Link to storyD.J. Reed player page
Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson has yet to reach 50 receiving yards in a game this season, and he has finished with three or fewer receptions in four straight games.
Footballguys view: Fantasy GMs aren't starting Hockenson, but some may have him as a TE2/bye option. Hockenson is struggling to produce, but it makes sense given the state of the Vikings' passing game. It's a low-volume passing attack with a young quarterback who is struggling to make plays. As JJ McCarthy struggles, guys down the pecking order like Hockenson just aren't going to have quality or quantity of targets.

Dallas Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs (knee) has looked good in practice but the team wants to see how his injury progresses before determining when he should be activated from the Reserve/Injured list, according to head coach Brian Schottenheimer.

Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett (illness) will play in Week 12's game against the Las Vegas Raiders despite missing practice due to an illness Friday, Nov. 21, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce said he will decide after the season whether or not he will return to the Chiefs in 2026. 'I want to give the Chiefs a good opportunity, whether I come back or not -- or whether they want me back or not,' Kelce said. 'I'd like to make that decision before they've got to get draft picks and free agency opens to fill the roster appropriately.'
Footballguys view: Kelce is set to be a free agent in 2026, and he intends to decide before free agency begins in the spring. He wants to make a decision when the Chiefs season is done, and the way they're playing that might be much sooner than we've become accustomed to.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk has had his 2026 guaranteed money voided by the team, and the two sides seem to be on track to part ways, according to sources.
Footballguys view: There's a chance Aiyuk has played his final game with the 49ers. Some are still holding out hope within the organization, but we're not sure how things get patched up here. He's allegedly been failing to report to meetings, and the team designated that as a breach of contract terms. Thus, his 2026 guarantees were removed. Aiyuk hasn't played in over a year as he recovers from a major knee injury.

Buffalo Bills OL Spencer Brown (arm) may be a candidate to be placed on the Reserve/Injured list, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Link to storyUpdating previous reports, Buffalo Bills LB Terrel Bernard (elbow) is considered week to week and may be a candidate to be placed on the Reserve/Injured list, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Link to storyBuffalo Bills QB Josh Allen (undisclosed) felt 'sore' after Week 12's game versus the Houston Texans but is expected to be fine going forward, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Footballguys view: Allen was sacked eight times against the Texans on Thursday night, so it's not a surprise that he's sore. Allen said his left shoulder "went a little numb on me" after a hit in Week 12's loss to the Texans, but he also added "we're good." Let's see what he does in practice next week. A DNP on Wednesday wouldn't be a surprise.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (ankle) was able to fully participate in practice for the second consecutive day Friday, Nov. 21.
Footballguys view: McMillan's ankle injury is minor, and he's set to play this Monday against the 49ers. He's coming off the best game of his career. With fantasy playoffs quickly approaching, his managers will hope he can build off his monstrous performance.
Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (hip) was able to practice in full Friday, Nov. 21 for the second consecutive day.

CB Jarrian Jones (quadriceps), CB Jourdan Lewis (neck) and TE Brenton Strange (hip) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. Jacksonville Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 21, but is not on the injury report for Week 12.
Footballguys view: Tuten downplayed his injury after leaving last week's game and proved it by practicing every day this week. The rookie running back is a superathlete with a growing role. He held the edge over Travis Etienne in touches before leaving last week's game and makes for an intriguing RB3 in this matchup against the Cardinals.
Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (rest) practice in full on Friday, Nov. 21, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 12 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Footballguys view: No concern here. Smith-Njigba simply received a limited veteran rest day on Wednesday, necessitating his inclusion on the injury report. He's a plug-and-play elite WR1.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba player page
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 21, but is not on the injury report for Week 12.
Footballguys view: Etienne had a big Week 11, but most of it came after Bhayshul Tuten exited the game with an ankle injury. Prior to that, Tuten held a slight edge in touches. We'll be paying close attention to the touch distribution this week. Start Etienne as an RB2, but recognize the potential risk.
Travis Etienne Jr. player page
Jacksonville Jaguars TE Brenton Strange (hip) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 21, and is listed as questionable for Week 12.
Footballguys view: Strange hasn't played since a Week 5 hip injury landed him on IR. He's nearing a return, whether it's this week or next. Trevor Lawrence has a penchant for targeting the tight end, and Strange pulled seven targets in back-to-back games before his injury. He's worth a stash if you're hurting at tight end.
Brenton Strange player page
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 21, but has been ruled out for Week 12.
Footballguys view: Thomas will not miss his third straight game after exiting Week 9's matchup in the fourth quarter with a neck injury. He's been practicing in a limited capacity since the start of last week and hopes to return next week against the Titans.
Seattle Seahawks WR Tory Horton (shin), LB Tyrice Knight (concussion) and LB Ernest Jones (knee) did not practice Friday, Nov. 21, while RB Kenneth Walker III (glute) and OG Grey Zabel (knee) were limited in practice. S Coby Bryant (foot), S Nick Emmanwori (hand), LB DeMarcus Lawrence (rest), DE Mike Morris (knee), FB Robbie Ouzts (elbow, personal), WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (rest), WR Cody White (abdomen) and DE Leonard Williams (rest) were full participants in practice. Horton and Knight have been ruled out, while Jones, Ouzts, Walker III and Zabel are questionable, while of the others have been removed from the report.

Seattle Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III (glute) was added to the injury report Friday, Nov. 21, due to a glute injury, but he is fine to play in the Week 12 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Footballguys view: Popping up on a Friday injury report typically causes concern, but the Seahawks quickly downplayed Walker's injury. Mike MacDonald said his practice limitation was precautionary. This is a good matchup for Walker, who started to pull away with increased work in last week's game against the Rams. Walker and Zach Charbonnet have been in a frustrating split all year, but both are talented running backs on a hyper-efficient offense. Keep Walker in your lineup as an RB2, and treat Charbonnet as a touchdown-dependent RB3.
Arizona Cardinals LB Baron Browning (concussion), RB Emari Demercado (ankle), WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (illness) and S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 21, and have been ruled out for Week 12. RB Trey Benson (knee) was limited during practice but has been ruled out. OT Kelvin Beachum (groin), OG Hayden Conner (knee), OG Will Hernandez (knee), CB Will Johnson (back, hip), DE Darius Robinson (groin) and CB Garrett Williams (ankle) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. DE Calais Campbell (non-injury) did not practice but is not on the injury report. RB Bam Knight (ankle) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report.

Denver Broncos PK Wil Lutz agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension through the 2028 season. Financial terms of the deal were undisclosed. He leads the NFL with four game-winning kicks this season.
Footballguys view: Lutz should enjoy his new contract just as much as he enjoys kicking through the thin Denver air. Lutz has been a reliable kicker since coming into the league, playing the early part of his career in New Orleans before settling in with the Broncos.
