| Footballguys view: Mattison was impressing head coach Mike McDaniel with his short yardage running and more. The team guaranteed about one million dollars of his 2025 salary, so clearly they expected him to have a role in the backfield. Jaylen Wright was thwarted on multiple goal line attempts in the preseason opener, although the line did him no favors. The Dolphins have signed RBs Mike Boone and Aaron Shampklin, who join a depth chart that also includes rookie Ollie Gordon. |

| Footballguys view: The Eagles acquired former Texans first rounder Kenyon Green for Chauncey Gardner-Johnson in the offseason. They turned around the career of Mekhi Becton - a former Jets first round pick - last year, and it sounds like they'll be hoping Green is ready to repeat Becton's story this year while Dickerson is mending. This is a big loss, but the Eagles are one of the best equipped teams to deal with it. |

| Footballguys view: The bruised heel won't keep Blue out of action for long. This backfield continues to trend towards a committee with at least three players, and could even include a player not currently on the roster. Blue has the best speed and initial burst of the group, so he's probably the best late round target of the group. |

It does still open the door for Sean Tucker to make this more of a committee behind Bucky Irving. The Bucs really like Tucker, although White is still the best passing down back they have. |

The Rams could simply not set goals to get back Stafford back on the practice field and then him missing practice wouldn't seem so ominous. Still, they have one of the best backup quarterbacks in Jimmy Garoppolo and offensive-minded head coaches in Sean McVay, so there's no reason to panic about Rams players or push them significantly down your board. |
