Cleveland Browns WR Denzel Boston said he has been working on improving his quickness out of routes this offseason.
Link to storyGreen Bay Packers DE Micah Parsons (knee) is a candidate to start the 2026 season on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Adam Schefter.
Footballguys view: Minnesota, the Jets, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Chicago, and Dallas would dodge Parsons if he starts the season on the PUP list. The Packers don't have another proven edge rusher after they traded Rashan Gary to the Cowboys in the offseason. We'll be monitoring the reports on 2023 first round pick Lukas Van Ness and this year's fourth round pick Dani Dennis-Sutton to see if edge rush help is on the way while Parsons is on the mend.

Tennessee Titans second-round draft choice LB Anthony Hill Jr. signed a four-year contract with the Titans Friday, May 15. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Hill is on track to be Robert Saleh's green dot linebacker after the Titans traded back into the second round to get him. He has a three-down skillset and should complement fellow Longhorn Cedric Gray well at inside linebacker in Saleh's 3-4 scheme. He's worth a late first or early second round pick in IDP dynasty rookie drafts.
Pittsburgh Steelers first-round draft choice OT Max Iheanachor signed a four-year contract with the Steelers Friday, May 15, worth $20.692 million, according to a source. The deal includes a fifth-year option.
Footballguys view: Iheanachor has the highest ceiling of the first round tackles, but he is also the most raw. The Steelers have two excellent offensive line coaches in James Campen and Jahri Evans, and they have already started to focus on his hand usage. Don't expect to see Iheanachor much this year unless the Steelers have injury problems on the line, but he could be a starting tackle for them for years to come.
ESPN's Ben Solak thinks that Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka could lead the NFL in targets and receptions in 2026.
Footballguys view: Third round pick Ted Hurst is slated to play at the "X" receiver position vacated by Mike Evans, so Egbuka can move back to his best spot at "Z" receiver or flanker, which is the wide receiver spot that can be moved around the formation. Egbuka got off to a very hot start last year, but once he was playing more in Evans spot and Baker Mayfield got banged up, his production dropped off. Egbuka could be one of the biggest breakout players of 2026 and he should be a consideration in the fourth round of drafts.
Las Vegas Raiders head coach should be expected to use more 12 and 13 personnel plays to help out RB Ashton Jeanty in 2026, according to ESPN's Ben Solak.
Footballguys view: The Raiders best pass catcher is a tight end - Brock Bowers - and they also have 2023 second round pick Michael Mayer and experienced journeyman Ian Thomas. Jack Bech is a good blocker at wide receiver and he could be used all over the formation as both a blocker and receiver. We should trust Klint Kubiak to set Jeanty up for success, making him worth a late first or early second round pick even though the Raiders offense let him and his fantasy teams down last year.
Carolina Panthers DL Lee Hunter signed his rookie contract with the team on Friday, May 15. It is for four years, though financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Hunter will be a stout presence against the run and he can get after the quarterback, just like his new running mate Derrick Brown. They should make each other more effective and give opposing offenses trouble once Hunter is up to speed.
Dallas Cowboys RB Malik Davis is believed to be the favorite to land the team's RB2 role, according to Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Nick Harris.
Footballguys view: This is an important backup running back battle to watch. The Cowboys were among the league leaders in running back scores, with 16, and their offensive line had some bad injury luck. Their defense should also be improved, so this might be a plug and play situation if Javonte Williams misses time. 2025 fifth round pick Jaydon Blue and seventh round pick Phil Mafah are also contenders to be the top backup to Williams.
Los Angeles Chargers assistant general manager Chad Alexander has declined the Minnesota Vikings' request to interview for their general manager vacancy.
Footballguys view: Alexander was considered a top prospect for the general manager. While he might just be happy with the Chargers working under Joe Horitz, that he wouldn't even interview could be a bad sign for the Vikings. There might be a perception that the general manager would report to Kevin O'Connell or otherwise not have decision-making freedom. The Vikings have nine other candidates with Alexander out of the pool, including interim GM Rob Brzezinski.
Undrafted free-agent WR Terrill Davis (Oklahoma State) signed with the Minnesota Vikings Thursday, May 14. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Link to storyGreen Bay Packers second-round draft choice CB Brandon Cisse signed a four-year contract with the Packers Thursday, May 14. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Cisse thrived as a perimeter corner in the SEC. Quarterbacks averaged only 34.6 percent completion percentage when throwing in Cisse's direction. His size/athleticism combination makes him a perfect pick for the Packers.
Green Bay Packers TE Luke Lachey (undisclosed) was waived Thursday, May 14, with a failed physical designation.
Link to storyUndrafted free-agent WR Mante' Morrow (Upper Iowa) signed with the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday, May 14. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Link to storyAtlanta Falcons second-round draft choice CB Avieon Terrell signed a four-year contract with the Falcons Thursday, May 14. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Terrell knows how to knock the football away from an opponent. He is the all-time leader for Clemson DBs with the single-season record for forced fumbles (5) and career forced fumbles (8). Terrell has the ability to play both inside as a slot corner and outside as a boundary corner. His versatility and aggression could make him a fine starter for the Falcons.
Atlanta Falcons sixth-round draft choice DT Anterio Thompson signed a four-year contract with the Falcons Thursday, May 14. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Link to storyHouston Texans second-round draft choice TE Marlin Klein signed a four-year contract with the Texans Thursday, May 14. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Born in Germany, Klein is the highest-drafted German player in NFL history. He's a big target with high-end speed and explosiveness (9.59 RAS). Klein was mainly a blocker, spending time at Michigan behind 2025 first-round pick Colston Loveland, so his production as a receiver in college was limited.
Cleveland Browns second-round draft choice S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren signed a four-year contract with the Browns Thursday, May 14. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: McNeil-Warren could have easily been a first-round pick, so he immediately brings value to the field. He's a turnover-creating machine, having nine forced fumbles in college. He uses elite size to stand out as a run-defender, and his length helps him make up ground in coverage.
Free-agent CB Sam Webb (Giants) worked out for the New York Giants Thursday, May 14, according to a source.

Link to storyCincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins said his goal is to record at least 1,000 receiving yards this upcoming season. He has not reached the number since the 2022 season.
Footballguys view: So long as QB Joe Burrow stays healthy, Higgins could easily hit that number. Fantasy GMs are excited about the Bengals' passing attack, as per usual, and Higgins is seen as a WR2 with upside.

Free-agent CB Nazeeh Johnson (Chiefs) is meeting with the New York Giants Thursday, May 14.
Link to storyChicago Bears QB Caleb Williams was instructed to tweak his shotgun stance and put his left foot forward instead of his right. This was part of head coach Ben Johnson's tweaks during the season.
Footballguys view: The Bears' quarterback certainly responded to Johnson's coaching. They have the toughest strength of schedule in 2026, but with a year under his belt in Johnson's system, we could see Williams continue to thrive and grow.
New York Jets S Chris Smith II was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement, according to a source on Wednesday, May 13.

Link to storyThe Dolphins and Pro Bowl RB De'Von Achane have agreed to a four-year extension worth $68 million, making him the NFL's third-highest-paid running back at $17 million per year with $32 million guaranteed, multiple sources told NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Footballguys view: GM Jon-Eric Sullivan and coach Jeff Hafley have insisted that Achane is a building block for the future. This investment proves it. Expect the team to continue relying on Achane to handle the same high-volume role the previous regime did. The 2023 third-round pick has scored either 11 or 12 touchdowns in each of his three seasons. He posted a career-high 1,838 scrimmage yards in 2025. Achane has also finished in the top five among backs in targets and receiving yards in each of the past two years, and his Footballguys RB6 projection reflects all of that.
Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane reportedly agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension worth $68 million - including $32 million guaranteed - to remain with the team on Wednesday, May 13.

Link to storyGiants WR Malik Nabers underwent a second surgery on his knee to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness, sources tell the Athletic's Dan Duggan.
Footballguys view: Duggan is told the second surgery took place "multiple weeks ago," and it was described as a "clean up." This second surgery isn't expected to impact Nabers' recovery timeline. The team is still hoping the No. 1 WR will be ready for the opener. Fantasy managers, who are drafting him as WR8, seem to share in the Giants' optimism. Nabers first underwent ACL and meniscus surgery on Oct. 28.
