Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua (rib) is scheduled to undergo a scan on the rib injury he suffered during the Week 9 game, but head coach Sean McVay said he is optimistic about Nacua's availability.
| Footballguys view: Despite not finishing the game, Nacua continued his elite-level season in Week 9, catching seven of eight targets for 95 yards and one touchdown before leaving. He's now ranked third in all of the NFL in receiving yards (711), behind the Seattle Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba (948) and the Cincinnati Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase (831). Even with a missed game and a bye week, Nacua ranks fourth in total fantasy points at his position. His 21.3-point per game average leads all wideouts. We'll monitor his progress as the Week 10 meeting with the Niners draws nearer. |

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) is going through the concussion protocol, according to head coach DeMeco Ryans.
| Footballguys view: This is Stroud's second concussion, with him sustaining the first against the New York Jets in December 2023. As Footballguy injury expert Adam Hutchison noted, even if we can't assess the severity of a concussion based on how it looks, history suggests that NFL quarterbacks typically miss at least one game following a head injury. Stroud missed two games after his 2023 concussion. The Texans are 3-5 and host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10. If Stroud can't clear the concussion protocol this week, expect Davis Mills to start. |

Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is out for the season. An MRI confirmed today what was feared yesterday: Kraft suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Panthers, according to multiple reports.
| Footballguys view: The recovery time for a torn ACL is such that there's no chance of Kraft playing again this season, and he could be in jeopardy for the start of the 2026 season as well. Kraft leads the team with 489 receiving yards and six touchdowns, and he has emerged as one of the best tight ends in the NFL this season. He won't be easy to replace, but Luke Musgrave will get the opportunity to do that. |

| Footballguys view: Tillman has been out since suffering a hamstring injury against Detroit in Week 4. He has caught 11 passes for 106 yards with a pair of touchdowns so far this season. A limited passing attack in Cleveland also limits our interest in Tillman. He's a viable depth option in deeper leagues, but keep expectations in check. |

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) received X-rays on his dislocated left elbow, which were negative. He'll undergo an MRI Monday, Nov. 3, to determine how long he's out.
| Footballguys view: The belief, per NFL Network's Rapoport, is that the dislocation might not be as bad as it could have been. But even if the news is good, the signal-caller is expected to miss several games. Marcus Mariota started the previous three games Daniels sat out and went 1-2 with four touchdowns and four interceptions. He would be in line to start again, with Daniels expected to miss a few games. The Commanders face the Lions and Dolphins (in Madrid, Spain) before a Week 12 bye. |

Miami Dolphins LB Jaelan Phillips was acquired by the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Nov. 3, in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick.
| Footballguys view: Phillips has three sacks in nine games this season and 26 in his five-year career with Miami. In Philadelphia, Phillips will reunite with Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, who was the coordinator in Miami in 2023. Phillips had 6.5 sacks in eight games that season. The Eagles have been unsteady at the edge position all season, but reinforcements are on the way; Brandon Graham came out of retirement, Nolan Smith is coming off IR and could play as early this week, and now Phillips is in the fold, joining a group that includes Jalyx Hunt, Joshua Uche, and Patrick Johnson. |

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels did, in fact, suffer a dislocated elbow midway through the fourth quarter of Sunday night's loss to Seattle, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter.
| Footballguys view: Speaking after the game, Washington coach Dan Quinn said he had no details on the injury other than that it was to Daniels' left elbow. The second-year QB is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the injury and to help determine how long he'll be sidelined. It's the third injury this season for Daniels and appears to be the most serious. He missed two games with a sprained knee and one with a hamstring injury, with Marcus Mariota replacing him. We'll continue to follow this one closely. |

| Footballguys view: Darnold might well have had the best game of his career and certainly his best first half, one in which he completed every pass he threw for 282 yards, a perfect 158.3 rating, and four touchdowns -- tops in his career for an opening half. Seattle scored on each of its five first-half possessions and Darnold completed his first 17 passes of the night, matching Warren Moon for the franchise record. Jaxon Smith-Njigba continued to emerge as one of the league's best wideouts, but Darnold was the star. The Seahawks play Arizona in Week 10. |

| Footballguys view: Kansas City had gone 27 straight games, including playoffs, without allowing a 100-yard rusher. Still, Cook broke the century mark, becoming the first player to gain 100 yards against the Chiefs' defense since Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season. Cook was sidelined early during the first half on the Bills' second offensive drive after sustaining what appeared to be an ankle injury that required attention from athletic trainers. He returned after having it taped up. The Bills play the Dolphins in Week 10. |

| Footballguys view: As NFL.com suggested, Stafford got whatever he wanted against the New Orleans defense, playing point guard with aplomb. Seven players had at least two catches and double-digit yards. Although he left early with a minor chest issue, Puka Nacua's return helped open up the offense. Whether it was short tosses to his tight ends or deep shots to Davante Adams, Stafford was on his game from the start. With Stafford and Adams vibing, the Rams' red zone offense can be deadly. Add a smothering defense and an offense in a groove, the 6-2 Rams are a force in the NFC. |
