Josh Allen completed 23 of his 26 passes for 265 yards, threw a touchdown pass, and ran for two scores as the Buffalo Bills defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 28-21 on Sunday in a rematch of last season's AFC championship game.
Footballguys view: That's right, Allen threw only three incompletions against Kansas City. His 88.5 completion percentage was the highest in a single game in Bills history with a minimum of 15 passing attempts. Allen now has 47 career games with one or more passing TDs and one or more rushing TDs, which is the most in NFL history. In other words, he's doing everything you drafted him to do this summer. The Bills play the Dolphins in Week 10.

Matthew Stafford threw for 281 yards and hit Davante Adams, who caught five passes for 60 yards, with two of his four touchdown passes in the Rams' 34-10 victory Sunday.
Footballguys view: Stafford's rapport with Adams is heating up after some fits and starts early in the season. The star wideout is once again a weapon in the red zone. Adams caught a 3-yard slant for his seventh TD of the season on the Rams' third drive, and he added another short scoring grab on the first drive after halftime. Adams' two TD catches gave him 111 in his career, pulling him even with Tony Gonzalez for eighth in league history.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave ended with three receptions for 57 yards on four targets in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Link to storyNew Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed ended up with five receptions for 68 yards and a game-high nine targets in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Link to storyRaiders tight end Brock Bowers, who missed the previous three games because of a knee injury, caught 12 passes for 127 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's overtime loss to the Jaguars.
Footballguys view: Bowers became the first player in NFL history to have five games with at least 10 catches in his first two seasons. He became the first tight end with at least 125 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a game since Rob Gronkowski in 2014. Bowers has accumulated 1,546 receiving yards in just 22 games. That's the fewest games needed by a tight end to pass 1,500 receiving yards since 1970. For our purposes, Bowers' 43.3 points were the highest single-scoring game by a tight end this season. The Raiders play the Broncos on Thursday night in Week 10.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough completed 15-of-24 passes for 176 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams, and he ran once for two yards in his first NFL start.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams caught four of his six targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.
Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown had to exit the game against the Las Vegas Raiders and was evaluated for a concussion.
Footballguys view: Brown remained down on the field after a kick return and was assisted to the medical tent before going to the locker room for further evaluation. He logged three catches on seven targets for 25 yards before his injury. He did not return. We'll be watching for official word that he's in the concussion protocol on Monday. The Jaguars, already thin at wideout with Travis Hunter (knee) going on IR, and Brian Thomas Jr. slowed by an ankle injury, Brown's status bears watching. The Jaguars play the Texans in Week 10.

Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown caught a team-high nine passes on 13 targets for 97 yards in a 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.
Footballguys view: As CBSSports.com notes, St. Brown tied Sam LaPorta for the team lead in receiving yards while setting the pace in both receptions and targets on the afternoon. St. Brown now has at least seven catches in six of eight contests this season. St. Brown, who was briefly slowed by leg cramps late in the game, will naturally remain a centerpiece of Detroit's air attack when the Lions attempt to bounce back from Sunday's loss in a Week 10 road matchup against the Commanders.

Detroit Lions TE Sam LaPorta caught six of his eight targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.
Footballguys view: As CBSSports.com noted, LaPorta tied for the team lead in receiving yards with a total that was also a season-high figure, and he checked in second in both receptions and targets. LaPorta also scored his third touchdown of the season, with all three coming over the last four weeks. LaPorta has a solid 35-436-3 receiving line on the season and at least five catches in three of the past four games heading into a Week 10 road matchup against the Commanders.

The Jacksonville Jaguars dealt with an injury to wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. in the second half of the Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Footballguys view: Thomas suffered the injury in the fourth quarter and appeared to be grabbing at his ankle after going down with the issue. Before he exited the game, Thomas had recorded three receptions for 55 yards. Thomas missed the last drive of the fourth quarter and wasn't on the field to start overtime, but he eventually returned -- albeit without getting another catch. We'll monitor this one in coming days. The Jaguars play the Texans in Week 10.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery rushed 11 times for 40 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 10 yards in a 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9. He also lost a fumble.

Rams receiver Puka Nacua exited Sunday's contest due to injury but should be OK going forward. Head coach Sean McVay told reporters in his postgame press conference that he thinks Nacua is going to be good.
Footballguys view: "He got his ribs," McVay said. "He could've come back in the game, but we kind of had command, felt like it was the smart thing [to rest him]." Nacua exited the contest in the third quarter after converting on fourth-and-1 with a jet sweep. He finished the game with seven catches for 95 yards with a 39-yard touchdown. He also had the one 3-yard carry. Nacua and the Rams will play the division-rival 49ers on the road in Week 10.

Green Bay Packers RB Christopher Brooks did not have a carry in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers, but he had two receptions for 24 yards on two targets.
Link to storyMinnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson caught six of his nine targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 9.
Footballguys view: As ESPN.com reported, Jefferson appeared to be shaken up on a play in the second half. After reportedly taking a few shots of pickle juice, however, the issue appeared to be cramps. The star wideout returned to the contest. He finished the day leading the team in catches and targets. With J.J. McCarthy looking capable, Jefferson's fantasy fortunes remain strong. The Vikings play the Ravens in Week 10.

Green Bay Packers TE Luke Musgrave finished with three receptions for 34 yards on three targets in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.
Footballguys view: With the Packers fearing starting TE Tucker Kraft suffered a torn ACL against the Panthers, Musgrave should move up on your waiver-wire watchlist heading into Week 10.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson ended up with two receptions for 58 yards on four targets in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.
Footballguys view: Watson left the game briefly to be checked for a concussion. He was cleared and returned. With tight end Tucker Kraft dealing with a serious knee injury and rookie WR Matthew Golden dealing with a shoulder injury, the rest of the Packers' receiving corps will be on the spot when the Packers play the Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 10.
Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison caught two of his four targets for 48 yards and added a 16-yard run in a 27-24 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 9.

Minnesota Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy completed 14 of his 25 passes for 143 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in a 27-24 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 9. He also rushed nine times for 12 yards and a score.
Footballguys view: As ESPN.com's Kevin Seifert noted, fans got the full McCarthy experience in his return from a high right ankle sprain. He started hot, throwing two touchdown passes in the first quarter, but got bogged down in the passing game as the Lions sacked him five times and hit him on three other occasions. The inconsistent accuracy McCarthy displayed early this season returned. But he found ways to make plays, including a 9-yard scoring run on third down. He'll look to build on this one against the Ravens in Week 10.
Detroit Lions OG Christian Mahogany (knee) was carted off with a knee injury during the Week 9 game against the Minnesota Vikings, and head coach Dan Campbell said he hopes Mahogany can return in late December.

Carolina Panthers TE Tommy Tremble had no offensive statistics on one target in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers.
Link to storyTommy Tremble player page
Houston Texans WR Nico Collins snagged seven of 11 targets for 75 yards in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.
Footballguys view: If Davis Mills starts in Week 10 against the Jaguars, at least we know he will pepper Collins with short targets. We are still waiting for Collins to live up to his first round fantasy draft cost, and it will be frustrating for his fantasy teams if CJ Stroud is out next week because the concussion he suffered in Week 9.
Nico Collins player page
Carolina Panthers WR Jimmy Horn Jr. finished with a single 1-yard catch on his only target in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers, and he had a 7-yard rush on his only attempt.
Link to storyCarolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker, TE Ja'Tavion Sanders and WR Brycen Tremayne each ended up with a single reception on one target each in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers. Coker had a 9-yard grab, Sanders had a 5-yard catch and Tremayne ended up with an 8-yard reception.
Link to storyHouston Texans TE Dalton Schultz snagged six of eight targets for 77 yards in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.
Footballguys view: When the Texans offense is struggling, the numbers come for Schultz. Well, at least the reception numbers - he actually had a 47-yard catch and run before CJ Stroud left with a concussion. Schultz should be a hot waiver wire pickup this week for teams that lost Tucker Kraft.
Dalton Schultz player page
Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (concussion) finished with just one catch and 22 yards on three targets in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers. He left the game to be checked for concussion, but he was able to return and finish up.
Link to storyCarolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan ended up with four receptions for a team-best 46 yards on six targets in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers.
Footballguys view: McMillan's weekly ceiling isn't going to be as high as long as Rico Dowdle is carrying the offense and finishing most of the touchdown drives. The rookie #1 receiver is still a WR3/Flex play with upside against an easier opponent when the Saints come to Charlotte next week.
