Denver Broncos (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • Sean Payton replaces Nathaniel Hackett as head coach and play-caller.
  • RB Javonte Williams is recovering from his knee injury and seems ready for 2023.
  • The team added Samaje Perine to back Williams up.
  • WR Tim Patrick was looking good in camp but likely tore his Achilles.
  • WR KJ Hamler was released after discovering a heart issue. He could return but will have trouble making the final roster.
  • These developments could pave the way for rookie WR Marvin Mims Jr. to have a role in 2023.

Detroit Lions (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Green Bay Packers (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Houston Texans (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • Plenty of changes in Houston, starting with a new coach and play-caller.
  • Second-overall pick C.J. Stroud will be the starting quarterback.
  • While Dameon Pierce remains the top running back, Devin Singletary will play a 1b role.
  • WR Brandin Cooks is now in Dallas. Nico Collins should top the receiving depth chart.
  • Last year's 2nd-round pick WR John Metchie III is ready to play after beating his 2022 cancer diagnosis.
  • WR Robert Woods joined via free agency, and the team drafted WR Nathaniel Dell in the 3rd round.
  • Dalton Schultz is the new starting tight end.

Indianapolis Colts (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Jacksonville Jaguars (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • WR Calvin Ridley returns after his one-year suspension. It will be his first time on the field since Week 7, 2021, with the Falcons.
  • The Jaguars used a 3rd-round pick on RB Tank Bigsby to back up Travis Etienne Jr.

Kansas City Chiefs (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • Last year's top receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster, signed with the Patriots.
  • While the team drafted WR Rashee Rice in the 2nd round, he will have competition for playing time
  • Justyn Ross looks healthy after injuries took away his rookie season.
  • WR Richie James signed after a good season with the Giants.

Las Vegas Raiders (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Los Angeles Chargers (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • The major change here is at offensive coordinator, as the team brought in Kellen Moore from Dallas.
  • They did add an excellent young receiver, Quentin Johnston, in the 1st round of the draft.
  • There is a lingering contract dispute to monitor with Austin Ekeler. He could hold out, and they have little depth at running back.

Los Angeles Rams (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • The best changes the Rams can hope for are a healthy Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.
  • At wide receiver, the team traded Allen Robinson II to Pittsburgh after one lousy year.
  • They have done little to replace him, though 5th-round pick Puka Nacua could be a fun addition.

Miami Dolphins (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Minnesota Vikings (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • The team released RB Dalvin Cook after not being able to trade him. He is unsigned as of this writing.
  • Alexander Mattison will assume the lead-back role.
  • WR Adam Thielen signed in Carolina after the Vikings released him.
  • The team spent a 1st-round pick on WR Jordan Addison. He should step into Thielen's vacated role immediately.

New England Patriots (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

New Orleans Saints (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

New York Giants (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

New York Jets (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Philadelphia Eagles (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Pittsburgh Steelers (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

San Francisco 49ers (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • The team finally parted ways with QB Jimmy Garoppolo, who signed with the Raiders.
  • While QB Brock Purdy appears to be the anointed starter, his health is questionable after his playoff injury.
  • QB Trey Lance is still here, but trade rumors have swirled all offseason.
  • The team added Sam Darnold in case Purdy cannot start the season healthy.

Seattle Seahawks (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

Tennessee Titans (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • The Titans hired a new offensive coordinator, so expect scheme changes.
  • The new coach has a great weapon to utilize, as WR DeAndre Hopkins chose to sign with the Titans.
  • The team selected a rookie quarterback for the second-straight draft. Will Levis will presumably back up Ryan Tannehill.

Washington Commanders (Footballguys Full Team Projections)

  • This season brings a new offensive coordinator and scheme for the Commanders.
  • Last year's 5th-round pick, Sam Howell, takes over at quarterback.
