Footballguys view: The Patriots moving on from another pick here. Baker was a fourth-round pick for them just last year, and now he's waived. Coming out of UCF (Alabama transfer), Baker has good ball-tracking ability on deep passes. It's clear this month that the Patriots wanted to rework the WR room with Baker being waived and Kendrick Bourne being released.

Footballguys view: Let's keep an eye on these running backs, and Schrader is a player in crazy deep dynasty we'll monitor. Schrader was undrafted coming out of Missouri in 2024, and he's spent time with the 49ers and the Rams. He's adept at running in wide zone, and that's a system he could produce within if given the opportunity.

Free-agent WR Mason Kinsey (Titans), WR Xavier Restrepo (Titans), WR James Proche (Titans), QB Trevor Siemian (Titans), RB Jordan Mims (Titans), Jermar Jefferson (Titans) and TE Thomas Odukoya (Titans) were signed to the Tennessee Titans practice squad Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Footballguys view: Restrepo is the player we want to watch most here, but only in super deep dynasty formats. A college teammate of QB Cam Ward, Restrepo is a slot-only receiver who can work underneath routes. He's quicker than he is fast, but Restrepo can be a reliable target to move the chains.

Undrafted out of North Dakota State, Miller has good traits as a runner in addition to his processing power as a passer. He may lack arm strength on boundary/deep throws, but there's enough moxie here to keep around as a developmental prospect.

Footballguys view: McCord was a sixth-round pick (Syracuse) for the Eagles just last year. He's got an incredibly quick release and has no problem challenging a defense. McCord is worth developing, and on the Eagles there could be something there for the future.

Footballguys view: Polk, a second-year receiver, will now have season-ending shoulder surgery. A second-round pick (Washington) just last year, Polk seemed in danger of making the team before suffering this shoulder injury. He'll have a ton to prove next year in training camp.

Footballguys view: Bourne wanted an opportunity at playing time that wasn't going to happen as the Patriots no.5 receiver. The 49ers would have interest in the veteran because of his familiarity with the scheme and their injuries at the position. He spent five years with the 49ers, and his final season with them (2020) Bourne had 49 receptions for 667 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in 15 games and five starts.

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice has accepted a six-game suspension and will miss the first six games of the 2025 season, according to sources.

Footballguys view: Rice will be a big play option for the Chiefs when he returns to the field in Week 7 against the Raiders. His current ADP is WR28 with Fantasy GMs cooking in the suspension when considering him in drafts.
